PALOI - FEBRUARY Stand-off continues in Paoli at Hucks as of 3:00 pm Saturday afternoon.
Indiana State Road 56 remains closed in the area of Hucks in Paoli. The traffic is being redirected around the area.
The Paoli Fire Department, IU Lifeline and multiple law enforcement agencies are on the scene which began early Saturday afternoon.
Details on the police stand off have not been released.
The Orange County Sheriff Department released the following statement in a Facebook post.
Orange County Law Enforcement Officers are currently handling a situation at Paoli Huck’s gas station. West Main Street in Paoli will be closed until further notice. Please avoid the area. Updates will be posted to this Facebook account. Please also avoid calling dispatch for updates or information regarding this issue.
Several businesses in the area are sheltering their customers in place until the situation is mitigated.
