BEDFORD - MARCH 11, 2024 - The jury selection is set to begin on the original charges of child molestation, incest, and criminal confinement case of Joseph Thomas, Bedford, Indiana and criminal confinement on Tuesday morning.
The trial will be held in Lawrence County Superior Court I with Judge John Plummer III presiding.

Back in July 7, 2020 following a five month investigation by the Indiana State Police Thomas was arrested on 13 felony counts of incest, 8 counts of child molestation, and two felony counts of criminal confinement.
7 counts of the child molestation has since been dismissed.
The trial is suspected to last four days with Thomas being represented by the Lawrence County Public Defender Agency with attorney Daniel Dixon.
