LAWRENCE COUNTY - MAY - 3, 2024 - The Lawrence County Zephyr will be providing election results as the returns from the county's voters come into the Lawrence County Voter registration Tuesday night.
Voters can vote today until 4:00 pm and then at two voting centers on Saturday at the Lawrence County Voter Registration and at the Mitchell Community Community Center from
8:30 until 3:30 pm. On Monday at voter registration from 8:00 am to noon.
Lawrence County Zephyr have received a few complaints about absentee ballots having improper precincts mailed to voters, and improper ballots at the voting machines with those issues corrected immediately.
At this time this year's primary has been quiet with low voter turnout at the polls so far. However, with an expected increase in voters going to the polls on Tuesday.
