OAKLAND CITY - NOVEMBER 5, 2023 - Two people which include a small child and her father was airlifted to burn centers following a house fire in Oakland City Sunday morning.
Elisha Jones, age 2 was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN and her father airlifted to a Louisville Hospital.
Seven others were treated at the scene with two suffering smoke inhalation.

Firefighters from the East Gibson Fire Territory was alerted to the fire at 4:16 am Sunday morning and was assisted by the Princeton Fire Department.
The fire located in the 590 block of Indiana State Road 57 in Oakland City.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
East Gibson Fire Territory, Princeton Fire Department, three ambulances from Gibson County EMS and two air ambulances, and Gibson County Sheriss Department responded to the scene.
