BEDFORD - MARCH 6, 2024 - Utilities crews hit a gas line on H Street near the intersection of 16th Street caused little disruption to motorist and businesses in the area.

The incident happened just after 10:00 am on Wednesday morning. There was no evacuations or business closures when the leak occurred.
The odor of gas was found to locations south of the incident, but did not pose a safety risk as a strong wind kept the gas dissipated.

H Street was closed to through traffic just south of the intersection. Center Point Energy responded to the scene to make repairs.
