SPRINGVILLE - (December 10, 2021) - Perry Township Trustee Robert (Bob) Phillips has resigned as Perry Township Trustee. He will be leaving office in 30 days, along with Perry Township advisory board member Amy Voorhies.

The Lawrence County GOP will be seeking potential appointments for those positions and announce those appointments in 30 days.
Perry Township Trustee Phillips was instrumental in getting the Springville Elementary School back to the township. This followed the consolidation of North Lawrence Community elementary schools which resulted in the closing of four elementary schools.
