SPRINGIVLLE - JULY 15, 2022 - During their meeting Thursday night the Springville Academy Board approved the hiring of the following personnel.
Springville Community Academy is preparing for the 2022-2023 School year
Joe Hill - Facilities
Amy Spence - 7th and 8th grade Science
Anna Blackwell - 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and Language Arts
Jacob Carmichael - Elementary PE teacher - Facilitator/Technology Skills Class Facilitator
Jenifer Harp - STEAM
Whitney Kirkman - Music/Art
Amber Knight - Medical
Karrie Osmon - IA/ Title I, Facilitator/Family Resources
Karen May - Instructional Assistant
Ashley Blackwell - Instructional Assistant
Courtney Leroy - Special ED Para
" I am proud of this crew of new hires and cannot wait until the school opens," said Jayme Spoonmore Davis.
In addition, the board approved the curriculum being used for the upcoming school year. This includes the following:
NWEA - Testing for grade 3 -8
ESGI - Testing for K-2
Studies Weekly - Science and Social Studies 4th and 5th grades
Savvas K-8 Literacy Program, K-8th grade Math, 6-8 Science, 6-8 Social Studies
