LOCAL SERVICE RATES FOR
TELEPHONE SERVICE
Daviess-Martin County Rural Telephone Corporation d/b/a RTC Communications is a local telecommunications provider who provides basic and enhanced phone services within service territory. Basic services are offered at the following rates and charges:
Single-Party Voice
Residential including local usage $18.50/month
Customers have access to long distance, directory assistance,
and operator service providers of their choice, at rates
established by those carriers. Emergency 911 Services are
provided and a surcharge is assessed by governmental rates.
Federal Subscriber - Single Line
Touch tone service is provided as part of the local service rate $6.50/month

LIFELINE SERVICES
LIFELINE telephone and broadband governmental assistance
programs are available for low-income individuals which
provide discounts from basic local service charges. Individuals
need to apply for LIFELINE and be approved to receive
discounted phone or broadband services.
LIFELINE is limited to one discount per household and is
non-transferrable.
Toll blocking is available at no charge for low-income
customers that qualify.
