SPRINGVILLE - MAY 28, 2022 - One person was airlifted to Methodist Hospital following a motorcycle verses another vehicle Saturday morning.
The call reporting the accident came into Lawrence County Central Dispatch at 10:37 a.m. in the 100 block of Brick Street in Springville.
A Stat Flight helicopter that was already in Fayetteville, for a public relations event was just five minutes away to the accident scene.
The air ambulance landed at the Springville Community Academy to transport the patient to Methodist Hospital.
One other person was transported by personal vehicle to a local hospital. A completed accident report is not available at this time.
Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Bedford Fire Department, Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department and IU Lifeline Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene.
