The vehicle exited the Interstate and came to rest approximately 60 feet under I-69. Law enforcement officer reported the vehicle exploded before firefighters arrived on the scene.

Fire crews had to extinguish the fire from the top of Interstate 69 and off of the Mineral/Koleen Road which made it very difficult due to the location of the vehicle.

The driver was out of the vehicle prior to Emergency Medical Services arrival and was later transported by Air Evac 17 air ambulance who landed at the Center - Jackson Fire Station in Cincinnati.

No other information was provided on what caused the accident.

The Tuesday accident made the third serious vehicle accident the Center/Jackson Township Fire Territory responded to with a 24-hour period.

On Monday evening the department had to respond to numerous call within a short space of time which included two serious vehicle accidents, structure fire, and ambulance transports for Greene County Ambulance Service.
