LAWRENCE COUNTY - MARCH 15, 2024 - On Thursday March 14, 2024, around 11:30am, Officers Brenten Trueblood and Shaun Cabral of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop along SR 54 near Avoca.

During the stop, probable cause was established to search the vehicle. Officers located approximately 17 grams of Cocaine, 20 grams of Psilocybin (a.k.a psychedelic mushrooms), 11 grams of marijuana and 24 controlled substance pills.
Kevin Donnelly Jr (38 years old of Springville) and Maria Carter (42 years old of Springville) were arrested during the traffic stop.
A search warrant for the Greene County residence of Donnelly and Carter was then applied for and granted through Lawrence County.
Later that same day, the Indiana State Police assisted Lawrence County Sheriff’s Officers with the execution of the search warrant, which was conducted in the 11000 block of East Blue Sky North.
During the search of the residence, approximately 333 grams of methamphetamine (almost 3/4 of a pound), 179 grams of Psilocybin, 163 grams of processed marijuana, 3 marijuana plants, 2 firearms, digital scales, and numerous items of paraphernalia were located.
Two other individuals, Jason Hill (49 years old of Springville) and Holly Stoll (35 years old of Springville), were located at the residence.
Both Jason Hill and Holly Stoll were arrested at the search warrant and taken to the Greene County Jail. Arrested and incarcerated in Lawrence County on the traffic stop:

Holly Stoll Possession of Methamphetamine – Level 6 Felony Cultivating Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana – Class B Misdemeanor Possession of Paraphernalia – Class C Misdemeanor Additional charges on Donnelly and Carter are expected through Greene County for Dealing Methamphetamine Level 2 Felony, Possession of Methamphetamine Level 3 Felony, Dealing Schedule 1 Controlled Substance Level 2 Felony, Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance Level 6 Felony, Cultivating Marijuana Class B Misdemeanor, Possession of Marijuana Class B Misdemeanor and Possession of Paraphernalia Class C Misdemeanor. Lawrence County Officers involved in the investigation were Brenten Trueblood, Shaun Cabral, Andrew Tillett and Drug Detective Chris Griggs. They were assisted by Trooper Jesse Crane, Trooper Ben Burris and an ISP DES Detective. All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until, and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
