Inmate Counts at Lawrence County Jail at 61 percent capacity
LAWRENCE COUNTY - SEPTEMBER 27, 2022 - Lawrence County Sheriff Mike Branham informed both the Lawrence County Commissioners and Lawrence County Council members that jail count was at 61 percent capacity.
Total Inmates - 109
Males - 90
Females - 19
Level 6 Felons - 4
Department of Corrections - 6
Parole - 2
With cooperation of the courts, prosecutor's office, and public defender's office the jail counts over the last few months have been trending downward.
