Gospel music brought uplifting music and ministry to Silverville Missionary Baptist Church Saturday night

SILVERVILLE - APRIL 15, 2024 - The Breeding Sisters brought down heaven just for a little while Saturday evening at the Sillverville Missionary Baptist Church through uplifting music and ministry.

" We grew up singing at St. John's Pentecostal Church in Greenville, Indiana where our dad pastors the church. About 25 year's ago our family which included mom and dad and family went out singing Southern Gospel Music," said Amy Breeding.


" Mom has since passed away, and dad sings every once a while with us, but most of the time its just Hannah and I,"

The two sisters sing with a band called " Worth the Journey" who will also be performing at the Dogwood Festival in Orleans April 24th this year," added Amy.



" Our heart's desire is that the Lord uses us to help people, whatever that is. Everyone is going through a struggle whether that be emotional, healing or just need encouragement. We want them to receive from the Lord whenever we sing," said Hannah Breeding.



Saturday night those who attended was clapping, lifting up hands, and smiling as the group sang songs such as " Still Blessed", " Still Holding on", He Knows My Name", and Chain Breaker," just to name a few selected by the group and a few requests by those who attended.

In 2019 two gospel groups teamed up to form "Worth the Journey" the group consists of David, Mike, Micah, Mason Napper and Amy and Hannah Breeding.



The group will perform on Wednesday April 24, 2024 during "Gospel night in the Park" at the Orleans Dogwood Festival at 6:00 pm.
