BLOOMINGTON - APRIL 19, 2024 - Emergency personnel is working a incident with a person with a gun shot wound near the intersection of North Curry Pike near Grand Avenue in Bloomington.
Motorist are asked to avoid the area. The incident was reported around 11:00 pm.

The victim has been transported from the scene to the hospital. Numerous law enforcement agencies are on the scene as part of the investigation.
Curry Pike between West Third Street and Grand Avenue was closed while the investigation is being conducted.
No other information is available at this time.
A heavy police presence is in Monroe County as a result of the Little 500 this weekend.
