City of Mitchell Races are Set with Four Mayoral Candidates

MITCHELL - FEBRUARY 3, 2023 - In the City of Mitchell municipal races four candidates have filed for the Mayor of Mitchell. The list is in order of filing, Mayor Nathan Jenkins is being challenged by two other Republican candidates, Vicky Schlegel and Don Caudell Jr. in the primary election.
Eugene Terrell Jr. the only Democrat Mayoral candidate will face off winner of the Republican race in the November election.
The Mitchell City Council District 3 race has four candidates filing for that seat with three Republicans and one Democrat filing for that race. Perry Reynolds currently holding the seat at this time will face off with Dan Terrell and Tammy Dwyer for that seat, in this year's primary.
Joey Slone, who was elected in the seat in past, will face off with the winner of the Republican race in November.
The Mitchell At- Large seats have George James who currently holds the seat being challenged by William Erdle for the Republican nomination in that race.

Richard Grace - Republican - City of Mitchell City Council District 2 Seat
City of Mitchell Council District 3 Race
Joey Slone - Democrat City of Mitchell City Council District 3 Seat
