Bull Reproduction Soundness Evaluation Clinic

SPRINGVILLE - (March 1, 2022) - Purdue Extension Bull Reproductive Soundness Evaluation Clinic will be on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 starting at 9:00 a.m.




The location will be at the Springville Feeder Auction Facility located at 4426 State Road 54 West in Springville, Indiana.


This is for beef and dairy bulls from Lawrence and surrounding counties. Bulls need to weigh at least 900 lbs and be a minimum of twelve months of age.


Approximately 10 percent of all bulls checked in the past failed the reproductive soundness evaluation exam. Plan now to bring your herd bull(s) to the clinic and them checked out.


The cost is $50.00 a bull. (Price subject to change)


Reservation are required by Monday March 21, 2022.


Bulls will be given a pre-breeding season check-up. Bull fertility, physical and reproductive condition will be evaluated by Dr. Jerry Rusch ( Spring Mill Vet Clinic) Health management service may be available as in past years for an additional fee payable to Spring Mill Vet Service.
