Bedford Police Department Captain Chase Hamilton resigns from the department

BEDFORD - APRIL 17,2024 - The Bedford Board of Works accepted the resignation of Bedford Police Department Captain Chase Hamilton during their meeting Tuesday night.

Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore says he received a letter from Captain Chase Hamilton on March 23, 2024, that he would be resigning at the end of the day on April 5, 2024.


Hamilton has served the City of Bedford for 7 years receiving many accolades while on the department including February's Officer of the Month 2020, Bedford Noon Lions Officer of the Year five years ago, were among the awards he received.


" He will be greatly missed" said Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore.
