BLOOMFIELD - APRIL 19, 2024 - A inmate died on Thursday at the Greene County Jail following a medical event.
Lea Plaff 42, Bloomfield suffered an unknown medical event while in custody.
Life-saving measures was taken by jail staff and Plaff was taken to Greene County General Hospital where Plaff died.
An autopsy is expected to performed today to determine the cause of death.
