Washington Police Officers credited for saving a man's life Wednesday night

WASHINGTON - NOEMBER 17, 2022 - On November 16, 2022, at approximately 11:25 PM, First Responders were dispatched to a residence regarding a 35 year old not breathing with CPR in progress.

Officers with the Washington Police Department's 3rd shift were first on scene. It is believed that had it not been for the fast reaction and life saving measures taken by the Officers, First Responders, and citizens on scene, the individual would be deceased.

Assisting was the Washington City Fire Department and Daviess Community Hospital EMS. We would like to encourage the public to report any suspected illegal drug activity taking place in our community to Central Dispatch at 812-254-1060 or to crimetips@washingtonin.us
