BEDFORD - OCTOBER 24, 2023 - A vehicle struck a parked trailer on J Street located between 15th and 16th Street Tuesday afternoon.
One person was transported to IU Health Bedford Hospital non-emergent by IU Lifeline Ambulance.

The vehicle appeared to travel northbound on J Street the wrong way on a one - way street, then striking the parked trailer. A medical event might have been a contributing factor.
The ambulance remained on the scene for more than 30 minutes.
Bedford Police Department, Indiana State Police, and IU Lifeline Ambulance responded.
A second property damage accident happened on the east side of Bedford in front of the Core Nursing following a rear-end two vehicle accident. That accident happened about the same time around 4:00 pm. Traffic was backed up for several minutes.
