PEKIN - JULY 31, 2023 - A two vehicle head-on collision accident has sent two children and the driver of one of the vehicles to Louisville, Kentucky Norton's Children's Hospital and University of Louisville Hospital Monday night.

The accident reported near the intersection of Indiana State Road 60 and Mottsinger Road near Pekin.
At this time the accident is still under investigation, with no details of the accident available.
Three air ambulances was contacted to respond to the scene to take at least three patients to Louisville, Kentucky Hospitals.
Conditions and extent of the accident victims are not known at this time.
Washington County Sheriff's Department, Washington County EMS, Pierce/Polk Volunteer Fire Department, Salem Fire Department, Kentucky Air Methods, Stat Flight St. Vincent, and Lifeline Helicopter from Columbus, Indiana responded to the scene.
