MITCHELL - MAY 26, 2022 - Two people were injured in a traffic accident on Mill Creek Road Thursday evening. The accident happened just before the railroad bridge.
The accident was reported at 6:11 p.m. There were two people trapped in the vehicle and had to be extricated by members of the Marion Township and Bedford Fire Department.
The patients were then taken by IU Lifeline Ambulance Service St. Vincent Dunn Hospital.
The accident is being investigated by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department. A completed accident report is not available at this time.
Marion Township, Bedford Fire Department IU Lifeline Ambulance Service, Lawrence County Sheriff's Department and Jackson's Heavy Haul Wrecker Service responded to the incident.
