MITCHELL - AUGUST 7, 2023 - Two traffic accidents occurred within minutes of one another in Mitchell Monday afternoon on Indiana State 37 in Mitchell.
The first accident happened at 1:30 pm in what was describe as T-bone collision in the 3500 block of State Road 37 one person was transported to IU Health hospital by ambulance.
Following that accident a second accident happened on Indiana State Road 37 just south of the Indiana State Road 60 West in Mitchell in which rear end collision happened. The second traffic accident happened at 2:00 pm.
No one was injured in that collision.
Mitchell Police Department, Mitchell Fire Department, IU Lifeline Ambulance, and Mikels Towing responded to the scene.
