OOLITIC - APRIL 3, 2024 - The Town of Oolitic has announced road closures and burn ban ahead of the 2024 Eclipse.
The burn ban will begin on April 6th and conclude on April 8th.
The following road closures take place to provide emergency personnel access to addresses throughout the town should traffic congestion will be an issue.
A medical helicopter will be staged at the Dollens Middle School on Monday to provide quick access to trauma care should highways also become congested and hard to reach.
The road closures will take place from Monday April 8th 5:00 am - Tuesday April 9th at 8:00 am.
Main Street from Hoosier to Lafayette will be closed
Hoosier from Main Street to Lafayette will be closed
1st Street from Hoosier to Lafayette
Oolitic Town Hall will be closed on Monday, April 8th, 2024, due to the Eclipse.
Resuming normal business hours on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024.
