" For the most memorable moments for me was how we was able to keep the playground equipment up, and the remodel of the back nine at Otis Park, most importantly we have kept the playground equipment safe for the children," said Deckard in reflecting the accomplishments the Bedford Parks Department has achieved.

Bedford Parks Department has several programs, facilities, activities and recreational opportunities for the community of all ages. " The staff put the heart and soul into their jobs, finding something new for the community to try. Including putting more time in for the children especially when they are off on Spring Break and Christmas break. This gives the kids something to do,"

"This is somewhat a bittersweet moment for me. I have made a lot of friends. I believe our park system is in better shape. This because the good employees we have, their dedication, they put everything they have into it," Deckard added.

Parks Director Jimmie Jones thanked him for everything Tim has done for the Bedford Parks Department and serving as president of the board.
