SPRINGVILLE - JUNE 3, 2022 - Three people were injured following a golf cart accident at the Lawrence County Recreation Park.

The 911 call reporting the incident came in at 5:10 p.m.
One male patient was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for injuries to his head and ankle injury.
A female suffered injuries to her arm and was flown by IU Lifeline helicopter from a landing zone at the park, to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Another female suffered injuries to face, compound fractures to her lower leg, and ankle injury and was flown from a landing zone at the park, to U of L University Louisville Hospital.
The details of how the accident happened are not available at this time.
Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Perry Township Volunteer Fire Department, Two IU Lifeline ground ambulances, Seals Ambulance, and Seals Squad respond to the incident.
