MITCHELL - AUGUST 12, 2022 - A third candidate has filed for Mitchell Community Schools District 2 Seat. Christopher W. Bowles filed Thursday afternoon for the MCS District 2 Seat currently held by President Christopher Shaw.

Shaw is being challenged by Kyrstal Shelter and Bowles.
The Lawrence County Zephyr will continue to monitor developments in both North Lawrence Community Schools and Mitchell Community School Board races.
