Three Children Rescued from Flood Waters in Jackson County Monday Morning

CROTHERSVILLE - (February 28, 2022) - A vehicle landed in the water after the roadway they was in was ice covered from the recent flooding. The vehicle had one adult and three children in the vehicle at the time of the incident.




The 911 call reporting the incident came in at 7:40 a.m. Monday morning. The incident taking place in the 8000 block of County Road 600 South in Jackson County.


The vehicle was in about three feet of water when responders arrived at the scene.

Emergency personnel from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, Brownstown Volunteer Fire Department, Vernon Township Volunteer Fire Department, Jackson County EMS, and Crothersville Police Department responded to the incident.
