BEDFORD - JULY 31, 2022 - On Saturday The Beauty Asylum offered free haircuts to the public.
" With the times being difficult and families trying to make ends meet, for families it is almost impossible. So I figured one thing I could do for the community to help make things easier is to give free haircuts," said Shay Shephard.
According to Shepard 32 people showed up on Saturday.
During the day a few adults showed up wanted a fresh look for the " Back to School" so Shephard figured why not.
" I met some fun amazing people. I got to help some kids, and I had so much fun," Shephard concluded.
Beauty Asylum is located at 2819 Washington Avenue in Bedford, Indiana.
