Spring Creek Antique Tractor Show October 7th - Event helps with upkeep of community park

SPRINGVILLE - SEPTEMBER 5, 2023 - The annual Spring Creek Antique Tractor Show will be held on October 7th.

Tractors, garden tractors, hit and miss engines and flea and Vendor Markets all start at 8:00 am on Saturday October 7th. Tractors can arrive anytime Saturday morning. There will be

tractor games beginnings at 11:00 am.


A pre-1960 stock tractor pull at 4:00 pm.


Food will be provided by Springville Community Academy starting at 11:00 am for more information on the tractor call Mark Baker at 812 -797 -2263 or Bryon Speas at 812-276-7251.

Vendor/flea market space available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm can set up at 8:00 am cost is $25 for a 10X10 space. For more information contact Bill Raines contact at 812-278-1659.


An outside movie night at the Springville Park. On Friday October 6th weather permitting and light refreshments will be served.



This event helps with the Springville Community Park. The park was started in 2004 and finances are needed to keep it in good shape and maintained.

There are several activities that can take place that give the whole family something to do. A shelter house can be rented for family gatherings.



A nearby playground, horse shoe pits, walking path, and a covered bridge makes this park special.



The money raised from this year's will be used to replace one bridges in the park. As well as try to keep funds for mowing and general upkeep to keep the park looking beautiful.



The Springville restoration project continues with a related story coming to the Lawrence County Zephyr.
