BEDFORD - NOVEMBER 25, 2022 - Lawrence County's dedicated runners took off at 8:00 a.m. early Friday morning for the " Butch Fish Dam Run Friday morning.
With just a little dampness in the air, the runners took off from R Street in Bedford from the Milwaukee Trail for a 10-Mile trek to Williams Dam.
At the end of the trek Charlie Tidd's pancakes awaited the participants.
A suggested donation of $10 was taken up to help support many projects of the Bedford Parks Department.
WILLIAMS DAM FRIDAY MORNING
Butch Fish worked 40 years at General Motors and was known to play Santa at the Bedford Parks Department Annual Santa House and supporting many youth activities in the community.

Fish was a previous member of the Bedford Parks Department Board, Lions Club. And most notably volunteered his work on the Milwaukee Trail, Community Garden, Murray Forest Park and Otis Golf Course.
