Updated: Roads and Bridges Starting to Freeze - Slick Conditions

SOUTHERN INDIANA - ( January 8, 2022) - There are reports that roads and bridges are becoming slick in places. Please drive with care.

At this time they are numerous non-injury and injury accidents in Greene County.

Several slide offs reported in the Oolitic area.

In Jackson County there are reports of slick conditions on State Road 58.

A winter weather advisory is in effect until 9 p.m. Saturday for much of western and northern Indiana.

Expect freezing rain and sleet, with ice accumulations up to a tenth of an inch, and 15-25 mph winds.
