Retail Spaces Starting to Fill Up Before Holiday Season in Bedford Indiana

BEDFORD - OCTOBER 21, 2022 - The vacant retail spaces among Bedford's shopping centers across the city are starting to fill up.


This is great news for the holiday shoppers which will start over Thanksgiving Black Friday and last through Christmas season.


Marshalls will be opening soon located on West 16th Street owned by Paragon Propeties.


The empty retail spaces along the Paragon Properties, Williams Crossing and the James Avenue by Rural King have all starting to fill up with new appealing new look.



The Ollies Store used over $430,000 in remodeling the former J.C. Penny Store located on James Avenue.


In addition, Yamato Japanese Restaurant is opened with a $200,000 remodel of that facility.



In June of this year, Paragon Developments completed a $2 million renovation to its facade to create a new appeal to its properties. The properties encompass Jay-C Foods, Tractor Supply, Anytime Fitness, and the new Marshall's Store.



In addition, new retailers that include Ollies, and Bellas Outlet Stores have been some of the many businesses who have filled up the vacant space along the James Avenue strip.


Today, Madelyn's Bling Boutique celebrated their ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening at 3295 16th Street.


Bedford is back on the map for the business to expand, locate and thrive for years to come.
