LAWRENCE COUNTY - (March 1, 2022) - The Lawrence County Commissioners welcomed Purdue Extension newest hire, Grace Thompson during their meeting this morning.

Thomspon originally from Lafeyette, Indiana got her degree from Indiana University. She then moved to Indianapolis, and for one year in obtaining her master's degree at IUPUI.
Thomspon just recently got married in September, and is living in Bloomington, Indiana.
Thomspon's role at the Purdue Extension Office is Health and Human Science Extension Educator. The programing covers four different areas which include Health, Money, Food and Family.
These programs include Financial Literacy, Food Safety/Preparation, and many other programs.
