OPINION: So, I didn't think St. Vincent/Ascension could go any lower after announcing that they are closing Dunn Hospital and our outpatient offices, but they have again sunk to a new low.
Our patients have now received a letter from Ascension stating that our patients will need to find a new provider and gave them a list of Daviess County doctors since Ascension manages their practices along with other providers.
I AM HERE TO ANNOUNCE THAT YOUR CURRENT PROVIDERS ARE STAYING IN THE AREA TO SERVE YOU. DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS DECEPTIVE LETTER AND THIS DECEPTIVE ORGANIZATION. HOW A SUPPOSED FAITH BASED ORGANIZATION CAN TREAT PROVIDERS WHO HAVE STOOD BY THEM LIKE THIS SAYS A LOT ABOUT THEM
