The storage boxes purchased by the department will help store equipment in the department's vehicles.

In addition, Lawrence County Sheriff's Department will also be providing traffic control when available. The Oolitic Marshal office will assist during those times.

The Oolitic Town Council is also excited about getting a new Dodge Durango with the radio from ECS will not be available until February. Until the radio is installed the department will be using portable radio communications.
