JUDAH - (January 4, 2022) - One person was injured in a single vehicle crash on Guthrie Road Sunday morning. The accident was reported at midnight on January 2, 2022, at the intersection of South Helton Road.
According to Lawrence County Sheriff's Department accident report the driver was traveling on Guthrie Road when she failed to navigate a curve and struck a tree.
The accident victim was freed by members of the Marshall Township Volunteer Fire Department.
At the time of the accident, it was raining, and the police report indicated she was traveling to fast for road the road condition.
The driver suffered an injury to her leg and was transported to the hospital by IU Lifeline Ambulance service to Bloomington Hospital.
