GREENE COUNTY - FEBRUARY 19, 2023 - At approximately 4:30 am Sunday morning, Center-Jackson Fire Territory was dispatched to an motor vehicle crash on Interstate-69 at the 98-mile marker Northbound Exit.

Initial dispatch advised that a semi-truck was off the road and on its top with the driver trapped inside.
First arriving units advised that the truck was partially on its top and driver's side.

Due to the extensive damage to the semi cab, extrication was prolonged. A medical helicopter was requested as well as a heavy wrecker service to assist with the extrication.
The driver was extricated and transported to a trauma center by Air Evac Lifeteam 39 - Brazil, IN Special thanks to Ken's Westside Service and Towing for the assistance with the heavy wrecker.
Assisting at the scene was Monroe Fire Protection District 39, Greene County Ambulance Emergency 2 and Greene County Sheriff Office.
