BEDFORD - SECEMBER 22, 2022 - The Men's Warming Shelter of Bedford, 1414 H St., will offer extended hours for men in need of lodging during the approaching winter storm and for the Christmas holiday.

The shelter will be open during the day starting at 5 p.m. Thursday and will remain open through Monday at 11 a.m. As a low-barrier shelter for homeless men, all men are welcome at the shelter. A low-barrier shelter minimizes barriers such as paperwork and waiting lists, while still maintaining rules that ensure a safe environment. The shelter operates from Nov. 1 through March 31 each winter. Doors open at 5 p.m. and guests leave at 9 a.m. the following morning.
