LAWRENCE COUNTY - SEPTEMBER 2, 2022 - The Lawrence County Tax online tax sale will be October 7th, 2022, at 10:00 a.m.
The tax sale administered by SRI will all be held on-line.
In Indiana the county tax collector will sell tax lien Certificates to winning bidders at the Lawrence County Tax sale.
According to Indiana state law, tax liens certificates can earn as much as 10% to 15% on the amount of the winning bidders pay to purchase Indiana Tax Lien certificates.
In addition, Indiana Tax Lien Certificates are secured by real estate. According to Indiana law a property owner has one year to pay Lawrence County the amount the winner bidder paid to purchase the tax lien Certificates plus 10% per annum 10% to 15% or risk forfeiting the property to the person who purchased the tax lien corticates at the Lawrence County Tax Lien Certificates Sale.
