BARTLETTSVILLE - NOVEMBER 4, 2023 - The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal single vehicle car verses tree accident around 4:00 am Saturday morning.
Three occupants were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
The accident happened in the 6300 block of Bartlettsville Road located near Dunn Bridge Road.
One of the accident victims have died resulting from the injuries crash.
Another accident victim was transported to IU Health hospital Bedford then transported to an Indianapolis hospital for treatment, the third victim transported to IU Health Hospital Bedford.
Details on the accident is not available as the investigation is continuing and pending the notification of victim's family.
Emergency personnel from Bedford Fire Department, IU Lifeline Ambulance, Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, Lawrence County Coroner's Office, and Pleasant Run Township Volunteer Fire Department responded.
