Lawrence County Sheriff Greg Day made recommendations to the Lawrence County Commissioners earlier this year, to make security more efficient and to put the department video surveillance and computers out of public view.
The security officers now have an office they can use, for various security matters.
In addition, Lawrence County Security officers at the Lawrence County Courthouse now have an office with an improved screening process.
