Great Turnout for Lions Club Pancake Breakfast Saturday Morning
BEDFORD - MAY 7, 2022 - There was a great turnout for the Annual Lions Club Pancake breakfast. The pancake breakfast lasts until noon today.

" We are back to normal," Steve Warren exclaimed as he was turning out the pancakes on the gridle.

Both the inside and drive-through lines were both congested, which was a good thing, for a good cause as the Lions Club serves the needs of the community.

The pancake breakfast held both in May and October is the sole fundraising project for the service club.

The motto of the organization is " We Serve" and the organization Serves the Community in a variety of ways.

Support Distinguished Young Woman ( Junior Miss) Program
Build Ramps for those who have Physical Mobility Challenges
Ring the Bell for Salvation Army Red Kettle Program
Conduct Mosquito Fogging in the City of Bedford
Conduct outstanding Youth Appreciation Program
Organize & Participate in the Limestone Heritage Festival and Christmas Parades

There are 46,000 clubs with over 1.4 million members making the Lions Club one of the largest service club organizations.

The Lions Club is always seeking new members to carry on the tradition of service.

Bedford Lions Club meetings are held 2nd and 4th Mondays at 6:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Christian Life Center 1515 20th Street Bedford Indiana.
