BEDFORD - JULY 23, 2022 - On Monday July 25th, all day, Dominos here in Bedford will be doing a fundraiser in honor of Bobby Booker. You can participate however you order your pizza, you just have to mention Bobby's name and the fundraiser. All proceeds will be going to both American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and Serenity Now.

During the early morning hours of July 25, 2020, Robert "Bobby" Booker took his life. Booker was 31 years of age. The family still struggles with his passing, that has left a void in their lives.
However, they do not want his passing to go in vain and want people who are struggling to reach out. Do not worry about the stigma's associated with seeking help.
Stigma is when someone see's you in a negative way because of mental illness
For men it is even more difficult to seek out help. Overall suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the State of Indiana. Indiana is ranked 27th in the United States for its suicide rate.
The family returned this Saturday to celebrate the memory of their loved one and reflected on what a smile he had, masking the depression he was dealing with.
More than 4 times as many people died by suicide in 2019 than in alcohol related accidents.
