“A large and significant winter storm is expected to impact much of the central US in the mid to late week time frame.

Substantial amounts of rain, snow, and ice are going to be possible for portions of our area with this storm depending on the eventual track and where you live.

Right now, the biggest impacts for our area are expected across southern Indiana and north central Kentucky from late Wednesday through early Friday.

Stay up to date of the latest forecasts as details will change with this developing complex winter storm.

It is a bit too early to get into expected amounts and precipitation types, however we are fairly confident the main impacts will come early Thursday through early Friday across southern IN into north central KY. Significant amounts of each precipitation type are possible as we will likely see a couple of transitions.

Areas across southern KY are expected to mainly receive rain with a quick round of light snow to end this event as things stand now, however that can change if the storm track changes. Stay up to date,”
