COVEYVILLE - APRIL 12, 2023 - Monroe Fire Protection District were initially dispatched for a fully involved structure fire in the 3000 block of South Chapel Hill Road.
When units got in the area, firefighters found the structure to be located in the 3000 block of Coveyville Road.
According to Pleasant Run Township Volunteer Fire Department fire chief Darrin Kinser, " The homeowner was currently having repairs made to his roof when the contractor realized the eve of the roof was on fire. The contractor acted immediately and cut the eve from the home. The fire was contained to the eve therefore saving the home. We thank Monroe Fire District for their quick response,"
The cause of fire is currently under investigation at this time.
