MITCHELL - FEBRUARY 24, 2023 - Firefighters from Mitchell Volunteer Fire Departments responded to a fuel spill at 12:25 pm Friday afternoon.
Fuel was leaking from a vehicle parked at the Shell gas station located at the intersection of Main Street and Indiana State Road 37.
Mitchell Police Department responded to provide traffic control. Firefighters used absorbent materials to take care of the leak.
Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department averages approximately 900 runs a year or average three calls a day in the small city.
