Educators Retire from North Lawrence Community Schools End of School Year

BEDFORD - MAY 2, 2022 - The following personnel changes were approved during the April 21, 2022, School Board meeting. Four more educators have announced their retirement at the end of this school year.

  • Madison Burton - BNL Counselor, effective 2022-2023 Academic Year

  • Carrie Crowder - NLCS Speech Language Pathologist, effective 2022-2023 Academic Year

  • Samuel Scherry - BMS Science/PLTW Teacher, effective 2022-2023 Academic Year

  • Instructional: Savanna Bradley - 52-week 40 hour Playful Pathways Instructional Aide, effective April 22, 2022

  • Holly Nedelkov - 52 week 40 hour Playful Pathways Instructional Aide, effective April 22, 2022

  • Heather Taylor - Lincoln Elementary Instructional Aide, effective April 22, 2022

  • Janie Jones - Retiring as Shawswick Elementary Reading Specialist - end of 2021/2022 Academic Year after returning from retirement for 4 additional years of service with NLCS. (Total of 38 years with NLCS/Joint Service Special Ed Director)

  • Joseph Voris - Retiring as BNL Media Teacher - end of 2021/2022 Academic Year after 29 years of service
