DUKE PLANS 12 HOUR POWER OUTAGE FOR PARTS OF ELLETSVILLE SUNDAY

ELLETSVILLE - DECEMBER 1, 2022 - There is a planned 12-hour power outage for the Town of Ellettsville by Duke Energy on Sunday.



Updated information about Duke Energy scheduled power outage for December 4, 2022.



Twelve-hour power outage necessary for repairs and equipment upgrades

Duke Energy is planning a 12-hour power outage for parts of Ellettsville on Sunday, December 4, to repair and replace electrical equipment for the circuit on West Raymond Run and West Main St. in Ellettsville.


The project, which will help improve reliability for the area, will require an interruption of service from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in order to safely complete the upgrade.


Please see the attached map showing a rough outline of the affected area. Please disregard previously posted maps that showed a much broader area for the outage. (Please note that this is a rough map and there may be discrepancies around the outer edges of the highlighted area. If you did not receive notification of the outage, your power is not expected to be disrupted. According to Duke Energy.
