Complete Election Coverage Lawrence County Primary Race
LAWRENCE COUNTY - (February 20,2022) - The Lawrence County Zephyr will have complete coverage of this year's Primary Race.

The Lawrence County Zephyr will start coverage of the contested races among Lawrence County Commissioners, Lawrence County Sheriff, Lawrence County Council, and Marshall Township Trustee race.

Lawrence County Zephyr has sought questions from readers and subscribers of the Lawrence County County Zephyr to ask the candidates. Four questions will be selected for the candidates to answer.

The first week of March we will start with the Lawrence County Commissioners and move down the list of contested races. In addition, Lawrence County Zephyr will follow up with developments in the races up until the day of the Primary. Special note the Democrat and Libertarian candidates already have their party nomination. Lawrence County Zephyr will not interview those candidates until the Fall - General Election.

The last day for Independents to file is June 30th, and North Lawrence Community School Board candidate filings first day to file is July 27, and last day to file is August 26th.
Independents must have 360 signatures of registered voters turned into Lawrence County Voter Registration by June 30.
North Lawrence Community School District 1, 2, 3, and 5 are up for election this year.
